Okay, I just recently got into Stargate: Atlantis. As in...maybe since the beginning of September, or the last week of August or so. So naturally, I bought the first season on DVD, and watched all of it in a week.

Unfortunately, my college doesn't have the Sci-Fi, but then I discovered CW5 has SGA on every Sunday at 1 PM, and so I've been watching "The Siege III" and onward once a week, slowly catching up. It was nice. I was happy.

We got to "Aurora" last week. And so I looked on Gateworld and was all, "Oh, 'The Lost Boys'! I've heard that's an amazing episode. Yay!" and gleefully looked forward to the rest of the season. *cough* "Grace Under Pressure." *cough*

...And then God smote me. He smote me hard. CW5 has (for reasons unknown to me) decided to go back to "The Siege III" and start the season over again.

Um, CW5? You really only should start the season over again when you've finished the damn season. Of course, maybe Sci-Fi only let you have those episodes, in which case I apologize for the profanity I've directed at you. I will turn my wrath upon Sci-Fi instead for being bums.

...Does anyone know when S2 is coming out on DVD in the US? *goes to study for my math test and weep on my notes* ;)

And Season 2..it won't be out until 2007..which actually isn't that far away.

It just would've made sense if they'd shown "The Lost Boys." Wasn't that the cliff-hanger for the hiatus during S2? It would've made slightly more sense, that maybe Sci-Fi only gave them the first part of the season or something. But after "Aurora"? That's just random.

At least it's actually coming out. That's good to hear. I keep checking Amazon and it's non-existant, so I was getting worried. ;)

Yes, tv-channels are evil like that.

For us it's normal that they do that when they are not fast enough with translating and synchronizing. It happened with NCIS twice in this last half year alone, has also happened with CSI, CSI:Miami, SG-1, SGA... very annoying.

Do you have some links to good SGA fictions?
Did you post "Five universes" already and if where?

Ouch. I'm bitchy enough in the US. I can't imagine living in another country and having to go through that on a regular basis. I would probably go nuts. Especially since you named like my four favorite shows (and a friend is forcing me to watch NCIS S1-2 over the holidays so I'll probably adore that one soon enough).

I...have an enormous collection of favorite SGA fics. Like, huge. Do you have a preference for a pairing? I'm a McKay/Zelenka girl myself, but I have some good McKay/Sheppard saved away, and stories of various pairings. *grins*

I only got into SGA two or three month ago so I don't really know every character yet. I read several McKay/Sheppard and some with Ronon
(and even one with Kavanaugh and from what I got he is, like, an asshole?). I haven't seen Zelenka yet -->so I don't know him.
And there was this really great Carson/McKay/Sheppard. So, either Gen or McShep or just some you think I *have* to read.

And those are my fav. shows, too. So me and my sis are getting really bitchy when we sit down to watch a certain long-awaited episode and they show one we've seen three month ago.
Or they show a new episode, then 4 old ones and when you think "okay, we wait till they *say* that they will show the new ones again* and don't watch them all again - only to one day realize that they are already showing the new ones again.Without telling us. Arg.(I can get a bit worked up about that...)

See, that's what bugs me. I like SG-1, I have S1-4 and plan on getting all of them...when I can afford it. But S9 already being out on DVD when SGA's S2 isn't? That's just lame.
