Okay, maybe I missed something, but I just watched a S2 House marathon on USA and I'm...very, very irritated, seeing as they showed us "Euphoria" and then skipped TWO EPISODES to show us "No Reason." Um...so I'm a little clueless.

Okay, Foreman had the biopsy done, but wasn't there a whole scene at the end where they asked him to move his foot and it turned out he was moving the wrong side of his body? As in, House told him to lift his right arm and he lifted his left? Okay, I get that. But...then USA skipped two episodes because they FAIL AT LIFE, and apparently he's fine by "No Reason." Were they just temporary issues or what?

They barely followed up with what happened anyway. Foreman limped a little and then was fine. It was one of those dropped balls TV shows are so good at. Sigh.

But...but there was the whole thing with his screwed up "mixing up his right with his left" and...they just had him limp around? *makes pathetic noises*

*just finished watching "No Reason"* Can I just say that episode both confused and irritated me? *shifty eyes*

As I recall by the next episode his brain damage was reduced to not being able to make coffee.

*snorts* Oh the humanity! Not being able to make coffee?

Afterwards he was much happier, less inclined to argue with House, and happily dealing with his problems. (The next ep is hardly next day, btw). He couldn't make coffee, yes, but he also had problem remembering much of what he needed to know for doctor-work too. Finally, House had had enough of his behavior and snapped at him to be normal again. To not be so content with his problems. To not be so happy. Told him that near-death behavior usually lasts 3 months and that he, House, can't wait that long to get his doctor back.

At the end of the episode Foreman is in their office working with flashcards, trying to remember what he's lost and getting several of the cards incorrect.

And then the problem just fades away very quickly.

Not next day? Oh, that's good to hear. *grins* Did they ever specify how long it had been between episodes? And a Foreman who wouldn't argue with House would make for a boring Foreman, so I'm glad he got back to normal emotionally.

I think I was just confused because they did the whole "his brain's really screwed up, he can't tell his left from his right!" deal, and that seemed like a major problem, not something that goes away quickly.

Foreman is the "House" version of Nicky. Which pretty much means, after being buried alive contracting a deadly disease and sustaining some not-so-tiny brain damage, the producers dropped it.

I just kind of assumed that Foreman would eventually re-learn how to make coffee and use big doctor words on his own time.

*snickers* The "House" version of Nicky. It is bad that I was watching Stargate: Atlantis the other day and commented to a friend, "Wow, McKay's the Nick Stokes of that show"? There's one in every show, I swear.
