Hello, Chocolatebox Artist/Writer!

First off, relax, and thank you for participating! I hope you enjoy the exchange this year.

As you may guess from my requests, I like gen and relationships of any variety (het, femslash, slash, threesomes or moresomes).

Stuff I love includes but is not limited to: found families, epistolary/documentary, friends to lovers, hurt/comfort, loyalty kink, pretend couples (that turn into real couples), friends with benefits, people showing their care and concern by feeding the other person, fix-its, missing scenes, and future-fic.

I'm not really into explicit sex scenes, but feel free to write/draw one if you want.

Stuff I don't want, unless otherwise stated in that particular request, is: infidelity/adultery, character death, and non-con/dub-con.

Requests behind the cut for Barakamon, The Chronicles of Chrestomanci, Rod Albright Alien Adventures, One Punch Man, The Squire's Tales, Much Ado About Nothing, and The Silmarillion. 

Barakamon

Handa Seishuu & Naru Kotoishi- I love this friendship, how much they complement each other, with Naru helping Handa learn how to relax and enjoy life and connect with people, and Handa being concerned and caring towards Naru like an awkward older brother. One idea could be Naru and Handa having an adventure together. Or even a quieter moment, Naru falling asleep on Handa's lap and Handa not wanting to move her even as he gets pins and needles or stares longing at his work, just out of reach.

Handa Seishuu/Kido Hiroshi- Hiroshi is such a great character, but his self-esteem issues are sad. I'd love to see something with Handa encouraging him to keep trying new things to find stuff he loves to do, or even help him stop worrying about being average. Maybe they find something they can do together, or Hiroshi teaches Handa a bit of cooking.

The Chronicles of Chrestomanci

Cat Chant/Tonino Montana- Ever since I read the novella Stealer of Souls I've wanted to see more of Cat and Tonino interacting, maybe studying magic together and slowly developing feelings as they get older.

Christopher Chant & Mordecai Roberts- Christopher and Mordecai's relationship in The Lives of Christopher Chant is one of my favorite parts of the book. I'd love anything about them, having an adventure during the early part of the book or dealing with the aftermath, or even set post-book with Mordecai working with Christopher on a project when he becomes Chrestomanci.

 

Rod Allbright Alien Adventures

Grakker/Snout- I love Snout/Grakker as a pairing, how Grakker is only nice to Snout and how Snout obviously cares for Grakker as well. I'd love to see how they become friends and then lovers. This is the childhood OTP of my heart, in case you couldn't guess, and I would really be happy with anything, whether it's friends with benefits, domestic fluff, a galactic adventure, or a first-time fic. And I also love the rest of the crew of Ferkel, so again, feel free to include everyone else as well!

One-Punch Man

Mumen Rider | License-less Rider & Saitama (One-Punch Man), Saitama/Mumen Rider- Mumen Rider and Saitama are such great characters! I love how they both want to protect people and aren't really interested in fame. I'd adore to see more of their friendship-- the little dinner date and Mumen Rider writing a fan letter to Saitama killed me with feelings-- so I'd enjoy something like them going on little lunch dates or working together against a monster to protect people or even just having a quiet moment together, relaxing post-battle.

The Squire's Tales

Dinadan & Brangienne- I love Dinadan and Brangienne's friendship so much! I like to imagine Dinadan visiting Brangienne often at the convent, bringing news of the outside world and singing songs for her, and her telling him about life at the convent, and both of them just delighting in each other's presence. Maybe she even volunteers him during a visit to help in the convent gardens or something.

Dinadan/Palomides- I adore their dynamic in The Ballad of Sir Dinadan-- how they might not understand each other completely (in other words, Dinadan not understanding Palomides's dreary poetry), but how much they like each other nonetheless, how impressed they are by each other and how much they enjoy traveling and singing together. I'd love anything for them, whether it's a missing adventure from the book, a post-canon look at Dinadan and Palomides traveling together, or even Dinadan and Palomides writing to each other during the years before the events of The Legend of the King.

Lynet/Gaheris- My childhood OTP! I've probably read The Savage Damsel and the Dwarf about seven times, and I've loved them more with every reread. I'd love to see more of their relationship, having an adventure or even a quiet moment at the farm, enjoying the fruits of their labors and each other's company.

Much Ado About Nothing

Beatrice/Benedick/Don Pedro- When Don Pedro asks Beatrice if she'll have him for a husband, she tells him only if she “might have another for working-days: your grace is too costly to wear every day.” It's meant in jest, but my mind keeps wondering what would happen if she, Benedick, and Don Pedro had a threesome? I'd love to see something about all three of them together, post-play.

The Silmarillion

Amlach/Maedhros- My feelings about this pairing boil down to “loyalty kink + them getting turned on killing Orcs together.” Maedhros's hatred of Morgoth is legendary, after all, and Amlach, in his own words, has a quarrel of his own. Together I think they'd enjoy killing a lot of Morgoth's minions and wrecking some of Morgoth's plans.

Aredhel/Haleth- I don't care that the timeline probably doesn't work out for them, I love the idea of Aredhel escaping or never encountering Eol and meeting Haleth instead. They're both strong-willed and not impressed when men try to tell them what to do. I think they'd get along wonderfully, and Aredhel would probably enjoy getting to travel around with the Haladin.

Haleth/Luthien- What if Luthien was the emissary who told Haleth she and her people would have their land as long as they defended it? I think Luthien would be intrigued by Haleth and the Haladin, and Haleth would be equally interested.

Lúthien Tinúviel & Beleg Cúthalion- I am forever thirsty over fic set in Doriath, especially pre-Beren. I especially like the idea of Beleg teaching a much younger Lúthien woodcraft or just Lúthien getting under foot and asking him stories about his adventures in the marches. Or even Beleg's thoughts on Beren when Lúthien falls in love with him.

Bëor/Finrod- Bëor/Finrod hits me in all my loyalty feelings. I’d love to see something with Bëor and Finrod early in their relationship, maybe when Bëor is adjusting to living in Nargothrond or both Bëor and Finrod navigating the beginning of their relationship. (I am amused by the fact that elves seem to have a much lower sex drive, so Finrod’s “Wait, how often do you want to have sex? Oh. OH. Well, I’m not objecting!” would be really great.)

For Nienor/Nellas and Nienor/Finduilas, I just want all the ladies to be happy! I imagine Nienor lived a pretty sheltered life since Morwen wouldn’t trust Brodda’s men, so maybe something with Menegroth being too crowded for her and her escaping to the forests and meeting Nellas? And then I’d love a fix-it where Finduilas lives and meets Nienor somehow and they both survive and live happily together, with Nienor regaining her memories eventually.
