Does anyone else refuse to turn in a test first? As in, you finish before everyone else and just...wait until at least one other person goes up there. I do. I'm not sure if it's superstition, or just me hating drawing attention to myself or what, but yeah, definitely sat in my History of the English Language class for ten minutes before someone else finished.

And now I'm off to study for French. Argh.

I do that all the time. In fact, I have to wait until at least 2 people have handed in their tests, just in case. I think its a self-conscious thing for me, out of everything.

Oh, good, it's not just me. Sometimes, for me, my thought process goes along the lines of, "Crap, maybe I finished this too quickly and the professor will get cranky if I give it to him/her right this instant."

Which, uh, actually happened during my AP exam (Advanced Placement test, an exam we take in the US to get a college credit for a high school class). I finished before everyone, and the proctor started yelling at me because obviously I "hadn't been really trying and shouldn't have finished so quickly, and this exam is IMPORTANT!"

I really don't like handing in a test or exam or anything first. It feels odd handing it in first.

I would look over my test or exam a million times to make sure I did everything the best I could. A couple people would had their tests in and then I would hand in mine.

Haha... I do the same thing. I think it's some subconscious thing in my head where I think I must have screwed something up somewhere if I finished it so quickly and no one else is done yet.

Exactly! *nods* I mean, if everyone else is still working, maybe I skipped something or screwed it up. That's exactly how I feel half the time. *laughs* Oh, subconscious.

No... I might have briefly checked over the test before I turned it in, but I usually enjoyed being the first done. If I knew some of the people in my class I might have considered it as a race of sorts (that only I knew about though).

I DO THE SAME THING. I hated that in college and I used to sit and wait and pretend to look over my answers because otherwise I got paranoid.
