Tell Congress: Repeal DADT
Mar. 20th, 2007 10:37 pmI'm not into politics. Honestly, I didn't know who my representative was until I sent my letter to him. *waves at Frank Wolf of Virginia* I don't know if he's a Democrat or Republican -- I suspect Republican, which means my letter will most likely be ignored. Still, I will get off my ass when something needs to be addressed, and letting the US government know that DADT is bullshit is something that needs to be done.
Send a Letter To Your Representative
...Of course, if DADT does get repealed, it will spawn a never-ending deluge of McShep "How They Outed Themselves After DADT Was Repealed" and whatnot, but hey, I can always ignore those as long as our soldiers are given the right to be proud of their orientation, not ashamed of it.
So my dear f-list, if you feel DADT should be repealed (and methinks most of you do), go and send a letter. It'll take five minutes of your time and who knows it might actually get the representatives to realize that why yes, DADT is bull. :)
