1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better. If I already know you well, expect the questions may be a little more intimate!
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions (whether cut or uncut).
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
Who is your favorite cartoon character? Why?
Oh god, I watched way too many cartoons as a kid. *laughs* But my favorite was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and my favorite character was Donatello. Even then I loved the nerds. It didn't hurt that purple was also my favorite color at the time.
You are granted 1 month out of time. You can do anything, go anywhere, learn what ever you desire. When the month is up, no time will have passed, but you will still retain any experience/memories/etc from that month. What do you do?
Travel to Europe and go to all the historical spots I've learned about in school first-hand. See Ireland, Scotland, definitely Wales, Poland, and the Czech Republic. Probably get a start on learning a language -- either Welsh or Czech, ha, because I have Welsh blood and because Czech is just neat.
The world is about to be destroyed by multiple forces. You have the power to bring five fictional characters to life to deal with the mess-- who do you pick? Why? The destruction includes mythic creatures, aliens, influential (and evil) politicians, and a war that could spark WW3.
Five people? Crap. Well, to deal with the aliens, I'd bring Rodney and Radek to life. To deal with the evil politicians, I'd grab The Postman from, uh, The Postman, an awesome post-dissolution of the United States movie, because he's clever and knows how to bring evil leaders down. For the mythic creatures, I'd get Hercules, both because he's badass and because then maybe Zeus would intervene as well without actually, you know, using Zeus as one of my five. *grins* And to figure out an end to war, I'd grab...uh, crap, who's a good negiotiator, um, I know Elizabeth's supposed to be, but...okay, fine, I'll go with Elizabeth to negotiate a peace treaty. And then flee with her, Rodney, and Radek to Atlantis if she can't stop WW3. *grin*
Think back to a major decision in your life. Where would you be now if you had made a different decision?
If I hadn't bowed to my parental pressure and had gone to the college I'm at now first, instead of spending a year at an all-girls college? Well, I wouldn't have one of the best friends I've ever met, so I'm glad I went, but I would probably be double-majoring instead of just being an English major, probably History and English, instead of struggling to play catch-up with General Education. ...And I wouldn't be so very, very staunch in my heterosexuality as I am now (all girls colleges either allow you to embrace your homosexuality or remind you that you really, really don't like girls and much prefer talking and hanging out with guys).
What is your favorite color?
Blue. Yes, lame I know, but there's just so many pretty shades of blue! ...Why was the first precious stone that came into my head emerald? *pokes color-blind brain* There's cerulean, azure, royal blue, etc. :) Um, yes. I like blue. *grin*
