cinaed...When the longest fanfic that I've ever written IN MY LIFE is a pairing that isn't my OTP of the show.
*stares at this McShep Nutcracker AU* It was supposed to be a Christmas present. It's now 10,000 words and I'm stuck on the battle scene and the end. *almost weeps* Ten thousand words and I'm stuck. And I wanted to have it done by New Year's. Damnit.
The closest I've come to 10,000 was a 8,300-word CSI fic that was David Hodges/Greg Sanders. And most of my McKay/Zelenka fics end up being around 6,000.

Also, I refuse to do that one meme that's been going around -- you know, the one where you post a link to every story you've written in 2006 and give a brief description of it or something? My reason for this is simple. I looked, realized that I HAVE NO LIFE because I've written 53 CSI fics (no, I'm not kidding you), 10 SGA fics, 3 House fics, one SG-1 fic, and one King Kong fic, and started whimpering and banging my head on the nearest flat surface. Sixty-eight freaking stories.
The realization that I have no life has saddened me, and the McShep fic and the goddamn Mausekönig are laughing at me, so I'm going to go read a book and sulk. Goodnight.
*grabs Meredith Ann Pierce's The Darkangel and crawls into bed*
