R/R Poetry of the Night

("Protocols" really feels like a R/R post-Trinity poem to me, where Rodney realizes he's screwed up but hasn't been truly forgiven yet. But that could just be in my head. *grins*)

(This is a post-relationship R/R to me, where Rodney mellowed out a bit when he and Radek were together, and now that they've broken up, he's back to his old self again.)

Dude. In my head? It's fine for R/R to break up - TEMPORARILY. God, everyone would need a break from Rodney every now and again...but I WANT THESE TWO TO BE FIGHTING WELL INTO THEIR NINETIES, DAMN IT. Heh.

Ahem. Though I do like the poems, and feel they fit them well.

You know what needs to be done? An anthology of Rodney/Radek poetry. Five sections: Rodney, Radek, Realization, Mature Relationship, Difficulties/Break-ups and Reconciliations. A short piece. Maybe only 5 poems per section? With short explanations for each poem. And section-title pages that would explain the section and would have some sort of art....
Ooh, if one really wanted to make it a bit larger-- keep all of the above, but add a drabble per poem (in addition to or in replacment of the indvd'l explanations). Or better, a ficlet for each section.

So you'd have:

Title Page
Dedication
ToC
Preface
Section Divider 1: Rodney
Ficlet (Rodney Character Study)
Poems
Etc.

Sorry. Tired. Still. It'd be cool.

The ficlets would of course fit together into one story as a whole. And the poems would comment on, clarify, and elaborate upon that story.

*grins* Which is why everyone is all, "Rodney's quite himself again-- oh shit. Okay, we've got to do something before one of us snaps and kills him. Intervention time!" And Rodney's just like, "You've got to be kidding me. Interventions are for people with drug problems, idiots." And someone (probably Sheppard) is all, "Says you." And they harass Rodney and Radek 'til they resolve their differences and get back together. ;)

...Yes. *shifty eyes* I'm just a little verbose when I just wake up. ;)
