Yes, I am safe and sound at Radford. And with internet too....

I am so technologically-ignorant it's not even funny. First, I lost my power chord, so I couldn't start my computer. Then I brought the wrong internet cable (apparently the phone cable and the school internet cables are different, heh) and then the internet was crapping out on me.

So while I arrived at college at like noon Friday, I didn't get internet access until...now. That, and my roommate's TV being broken left me with nothing whatsoever to do. Seriously. My roommate was away for the weekend for a field hockey match. I resorted to watching her copy of Grey's Anatomy...as in the entire first season. (In my defense, there's only 9 episodes.) But yes, I enjoyed the season, surprisingly enough. True, Meredith's voice reminds me of Betty Boop, but I adore George...and Alex. Shush, I can horrible taste in men as long as I don't date them. *snuggles George, who should exist in real life* I'd date him.... No clue why Meredith's so blind.

But yes, being internet-less and TV-less was terrible. I did not realize how dependant I was on them. ...and there was also the fact that my cell died so I couldn't talk to anyone. Yeah, technology hates me.

But yes, I am here, I have internet and all is right with the world.

...Except for the fact that apparently two of my stories got nominated for the CSI Fanfic Awards and I have to choose between them. *stares at The Dead Alone Know Peace and Pure Desperation, Pure Exhilaration* ...Crap.

Yay for making it to your school!

I have to say Grey's is good despite it's sort of simplicity and uber-drama, and I am slightly addicted. Wait until you see second season - Sara Ramirez, who is one of my heroes, comes in midway through the season and is just awesome. We jokingly call her Dr. McSalsa for her hot curvy Latino goodness.

And congrats on the noms. :) Just go eenie-meenie-minie-mo. ;)

Yay for making it here in one piece! Always a good thing.

I know, there's virtually no plot, but I like the characters anyway. I will have to watch the second season. ...If just for Dr. McSalsa. *grins*

I should do eenie-meenie-minie-mo.

Sara Ramirez is a diva. Seriously. I saw her in Spamalot (ON STAGE IN PERSON OH YEAH) and she was just unreal. And for her to show up on Grey's, well. That is why I started watching the show - so I would get what was going on so I could watch it when she started. She's amazing.

I could give you my opinion on which one I would choose were I you, but I am not you. Instead, I will say - close your eyes and pick one or something. ;)

Oooh. (There're so many musicals I want to see on stage. *pouts*) Divas are fun. The people at the pharmacy I worked at loved Greg's Anatomy, so when I saw my roommate had it, I was all, "Eh, I have absolutely nothing else to do."

I'm such an indecisive person. *laughs* I'll probably do eenie-meenie-minie-moe.

The Spamalot thing ended up being a huge fluke. I'd begged for tickets for my birthday that year (the preview was in Chicago, which rarely happens, so there were two months of it being near me before it went to Broadway) but my parents suck and lost the information on buying tickets. By the time they got it again, there were no decent seats/dates left. But then, the last week it was open, a friend of mine was like, "Hey, so, what are you doing this weekend?" and proceeded to tell me that she, her fiance, and a bunch of their friends were all planning to go, but one of the chicks cancelled and they had a ticket. First balcony seats, which weren't GREAT (it was in the worst theater for something big, the Shubert, ugh) but everything was visable and the show was a HOOT. It was seriously awesome.

(On stage, major production wise, I have seen Phantom of the Opera, Wicked (Chicago cast, twice), and Spamalot.)

I saw your poll. I VOTED.

I've only ever seen major production wise Cats on Broadway. I was 10 at the time, but it was awesome.

...and I accidentally deleted the poll. Man, I fail at life this weekend. ^^;; *redoes poll and backs away from the computer*

I've never been to NYC, though I'd love to go. I saw all those in Chicago, which is a major tour hub (thankfully.)

And whoops!
