Hmmm.... I really need to find someone to edit the first two chapters of my novel so I can polish 'em up for a contest. I'm being overly critical of myself at the moment and my mother's too busy.

Well, I know I'm not asking my dumbass English teacher. Gods is that man an idiot. *shudders* I'll just have to figure something out.

And now I go off to read "Invisible Man" by Ralph Ellison for his class and wish that it was H.G. Well's book instead. *wistful sigh*

*laughs* Yes, I had to crush a bunch of my fellow students' dreams by informing them that no, we were not reading a nifty science fiction story but instead some "metaphorical" story of a black man oppressed by white society....

I would offer some help with the editing, but I'm supposed to be critting Drew's novel and I've not worked on it for the past three weeks and I've only done the first hundred pages...
