"It used to be a carriage," Death said conversationally.
Shifting in the passenger's seat, Amy stared. "What?"
"A carriage," he repeated. "It used to be a carriage but someone--" He paused to nod at the figure sitting behind them. "--decided that carriages were too...archaic. So I drive a car now." His black leather gloves tightened a little on the steering wheel. "I am still trying to decide if it was a good decision or not."
"It was a good decision." The person in the back of the car spoke for the first time since Amy had gotten in. His voice was low and rich, and the very timbre of it made Amy's breath catch. "Today, people drive cars. Even Death must move forward when it comes to technology."
That's all I have at the moment. Enjoy it? I dunno if I should continue it, seeing as I have to read four books for various classes...but it's in my head, lol. Anyone want to guess who the third person is? It's inspired by "Because I Could Not Stop For Death."

The carriage held but just ourselves
And Immortality.
