cinaedFirst off, relax, and thank you for participating! I hope my requests make you smile rather than tear your hair out, ha.
As for my likes and dislikes.... I like gen, het, slash, femslash, threesomes, so, uh, pretty much anything goes. I really enjoy watching relationships develop in a story or just seeing how characters interact. I also love banter when the characters are prone to it, people being devoted to each other despite differences, and just complicated and interesting characters in general. I generally enjoy AUs and crossovers, though for this exchange I'd prefer canon-era and non-crossovers, unless it's one I've mentioned in my tumblr tag of crossovers that need to exist, haha.
I'm not really into explicit sex scenes, but feel free to write one if you really want to. My only squicks are non-con/dub-con, infidelity/adultery, and death fics, which, uh, I don't think anyone would be writing with my prompts, so you're safe, ha. Anyway, here's a bit more about each request!
Les Miserables (Jean Valjean, Pere Fauchelevent)
I love Valjean and Fauchelevent so much, and I love their relationship. I would be delighted with a friendship story during the convent era, but if you wanted to go the fix-it route, I'd also love a fix-it where Fauchelevent lives and moves to the Rue Plumet with Valjean and Cosette and how things go from there.
Valjean and Fauchelevent have such a fascinating relationship in the book. Fauchelevent might not know who Valjean really is, but he's also one of the few who would accept Valjean and his past without hesitation, (see the "if he were a thief? just the same" thought process), so I would love to see a fix-it where Valjean confides in him and is embraced as the good, kind person he is. I definitely ship them, but I would be happy with a friendship story, so long as Valjean and Fauchelevent get to be happy. (Valjean and Cosette's relationship is also important to me, so I would not object to her being in the fic, or at least mentioned. I also like the idea of Cosette adopting Fauchelevent as the uncle he pretends to be.)
Highlander (Methos, Joe Dawson)
Joe is my favorite character in Highlander, with Methos a close second. I'd love anything about them, their prickly friendship, their support of each other (Methos giving up the diary of an old friend to try and save Joe, Joe not believing Methos could be a Horseman or that he must have had his reasons). I'll be happy with friendship fic or something that plays off episodes like "Indiscretions" and leads to something more.
Both Joe and Methos are such fascinating, complicated characters. One of my favorite character arcs was watching Joe realize how corrupt the Watchers are and trying to improve the group from within. And Methos is just fascinating all around. I'd be interested in anything about them, whether it's a look at Methos and Joe pre-series when Methos is still pretending to be Adam, a look at them during the series like a post-ep "Indiscretions," or whatever time you want to write about!
The Musketeers (Aramis, Porthos)
Porthos and Aramis have such an amazing friendship on the show. I love how much faith they have in each other, how much pleasure they take from each other's company, and how they are each other's family. I would love anything about them, whether a pre-canon take on how they met to a made-up adventure they go on with Athos and d'Artagnan (with Constance along for the ride, no doubt). I love their friendship, but I also really like the idea of them being in an open relationship, so write them however you like!
I love how they've both found a family in the Musketeers, Porthos who grew up in the Court of Miracles and had to leave that family to find something more, Aramis who lost his first Mukseteers family during that massacre. I would be interested in seeing what your idea is of their first meeting-- is it shortly after the massacre, when Aramis is still reeling? Is Porthos the first person to make him laugh afterwards? Or a madcap adventure, either pre-series with poor long-suffering Athos along for the ride, or during the series, with Constance and d'Artagnan along for fun antics. I really love Anne and also the other women in both Porthos and Aramis's lives, so I would appreciate them not being considered 'less' or ignored-- my personal thought for a fic that has them together is that they have an open relationship!

Lin Bei Fong is the best! I would be delighted by anything about her, whether it's backstory on her relationship with Toph, her journey to becoming the police chief, and/or her relationship with Republic City and the people within it. I really like her weird friendship with Tenzin, so you could have fun with that as well.
Pretty much what it says on the tin! I love Lin, and would love any fic about her. How did she become a police officer? Was it difficult to rise through the ranks based on her own merits and not her mother's legacy? What is the deal with her prickly friendship with Tenzin? I am all for Lin/original ladies if you are in the mood for a relationship fic or if you want to write her and friendships with characters, I would love to see stuff about her relationship with Korra, Asami, and/or Tenzin's daughters.
