Here Thy Hands Let Fall the Gather'd Flower (Greek mythology, Hades/Persephone, 6,880 words)

Favorite(s) of the batch: Where Sister and Brother and God-kin Know Us, because I honestly think it's one of the best fics I've written, A Memory That Wasn't Ours to Claim, because I had so much fun writing Aziraphale and Crowley meeting the Hot Fuzz ensemble (especially Doris, I love Doris), and Here Thy Hands Let Fall the Gather'd Flower because it was absolute joy to write.

Best of the batch: Where Sister and Brother and God-kin Know Us and Here Thy Hands Let Fall the Gather'd Flower

Most underappreciated by the universe: So You (Don't) Want to be a Wizard -- come on, it's Barney Stinson as a wizard! *laughs*

Most fun to write: Here Thy Hands Let Fall the Gather'd Flower- Charon! Hades! Persephone. Oh man, writing Persephone and Athena was awesome.

Sexiest fic: I actually didn't write too many sexy fics this year. But I suppose As To Matters of Dress?

"Holy crap, that's wrong even for you" fic: Uh, I didn't write anything that would raise eyebrows this year. Unless writing about a children's cartoon makes you squint, in which case What You Make It.

Fic that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: Where Sister and Brother and God-kin Know Us, because I got to delve into Scar and Miles's ways of thinking and how their opinions and beliefs regarding Ishval differ.

Hardest fic to write: A Memory That Wasn't Ours to Claim. Not because I didn't know where I was going with it-- as soon as I saw the prompt the entire plot fell into my head fully formed, but the LENGTH nearly killed me. It just kept longer and longer, until it was nearly 12,000 words.

Biggest disappointment: Um, none really?

Biggest surprise: Here Thy Hands Let Fall the Gather'd Flower. Holy crap, you guys, I may have squeaked and stared when the hit count reached 1,000. A-apparently a lot of people wanted a less Stockholm Syndrome-y Hades/Persephone story?

Most telling story: Hm. Looking over the list, I don't think any are particularly telling.

So that's 24 stories:

-8 Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
-2 Leverage
-2 Glee
-1 Avatar: The Last Airbender
-1 Darkwing Duck
-1 Doctor Who
-1 Stargate: Atlantis
-1 Community
-1 Arthurian mythology
-1 Chrestomanci
-1 Greek mythology
-4 Crossovers (Hot Fuzz/Good Omens, How I Met Your Mother/Harry Potter, Stargate: Atlantis/SG-1, Glee/High School Musical)

And a total of, uh, 55,450 words written! Considering I didn't write anything for three months there, I think that's pretty good.
