Note to Self
Aug. 21st, 2005 11:23 pmWhen you have an entire summer to pack for college, don't just spend the entire time at your best friend's house. While this is fun, it raises the chances of a mental break-down to 75% when you look at the date and realize it's Sunday, 11:30 at night, and you're leaving at 6 AM on Tuesday for college.
Those chances spike up to 90% when you still don't have a computer and your estranged father changes his mind every five minutes as to whether he'll buy you the computer or not.
Those chances spike up to 95% when you realize you don't know what the hell you're doing when it comes to packing because the longest you've ever been away from home was three weeks.
It concludes with an all-out 100% chance of spazzing out when your best friend is already off to college and not close enough to reassure you that everything isn't going to fall apart at the seams.
*grumbles* I'll be busy the entire day tomorrow, though I'll be damned if I don't have Justin over and force him to watch "The Nightmare Before Christmas"! We must watch Tim Burton goodness before I go off to Lynchburg damnit! But before him coming over and after him leaving, I shall be frantically packing...and packing...and packing some more.
At least my writing muse is back. Although he is being fairly cynical and...quite bloody. Heh. Oh well, as long as he's back, I don't care! *grins*
