cinaedI turned in my last portfolio earlier today and so I'm...done. Finished. Just have to wait until Saturday and then I'll be a college graduate with a B.A. in English with a concentration in Business and Technical Writing.
...I don't think it's sunk in yet, honestly.
But! I am also accomplishing a crapload of stuff. :) I went to my dentist appointment yesterday (...and make ANOTHER dentist appointment for Thursday because one of my sealants is leaking argh), packed a little of my stuff up, finished the short story I'm planning on entering in Sword and Sorceress and sent it off to a possible beta reader, and posted two fics.
Right now I'm looking to finish:
-Amid the Thieves and Outlaws of the Land, a 'Charlie/Ted in prison' fic
-The Look of Soft Deceit, a Barney/Lily sequel to "A Dangerous Idea That Almost Makes Sense"
-You're an Alias, an Email Address, a John/Teyla "You've Got Mail" AU that I am so close to finishing
After that, I'm concentrating on my two Sweet Charity fics, and then I'm gonna take a break from fanfiction and just concentrate on original stuff, try and finish some short stories and send them to magazines. Oh, and work on my novel. :)
