Crossing Jordan -- My Latest Addiction
May. 16th, 2006 06:42 pmSilence, you. *glares at whoever saw the subject and started snickering, because I know someone did*
Anyways...yes, I've started watching Crossing Jordan. It's on A & E on weekdays at 11 at night, and it's amazing. Total twists that leave you staring at the screen and going, "Holy shit!" and intriguing characters that sometimes you want to hug and other times you want to slap.
The one thing that upsets me about the show is that there is no DVD version of it. For some reason the producers aren't making DVDs of it so you can't get the first season or anything like that. I just don't freaking get it. I mean, if Tru Calling can get on DVD (which, admittedly, was a show I adored, but only had one full season and a handful of other episodes), then an awesome show like Crossing Jordan with a few seasons under its belt should be on fricking DVD!
*huffs*
Anyways, here's an overview of the show.
Plot Outline: (From NBC.com)
Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh, a sexy, smart and fearless Boston medical examiner with a checkered career past who works under the guidance of Dr. Garret Macy. Her unorthodox methods constantly test her professional and personal relationship with Detective Woodrow "Woody" Hoyt, who the coroners rely on to put in the legwork to hunt down the life-size perpetrators of the crimes they investigate.
Additional support for the cop and the coroner team is provided by grief counselor Lily Lebowski, forensic entomologist "Bug" and criminalist Nigel. Working alongside Cavanaugh is Dr. Devan Maguire, and the "new guy," Dr. Sidney Trumaine.

...Can we already tell my favorite characters for the quotations? *shifty eyes* Anyways, watch. I command thee!
