Cirque du Freak

Have you ever read a book where you've figured out who the real bad guy is but none of the characters have? And where the entire book you're screaming at them, "You dumbasses, it's not HIM! It's--" and then you scream at the very end of the book when your favorite character sacrifices himself to kill...the decoy. *grumbles*

That's what the ninth book of the Cirque du Freak series was like for me. And the main character's stupid girlfriend came back. She hadn't been in it since Book 3.... Gods, somehow I'll blame her for my favorite character's death. Somehow.... *shakes fist* She'll be my Cho Chang of the series! *takes a moment aside from my rant to beat Cho Chang to a pulp, and then continues to grumble*

Ugh...my other favorite character better not die in the final book. *sulks and waits for the tenth book in October*
