I have an audition today at 12:30, and I get queasy just thinking about it. It's a community thing so it's not a big deal if I bomb, but if I do well I could get $200 -- which would get my parents off my back about spending money on manga.
I singing two pieces -- "'Til There Was You" from The Music Man and "American Lullaby" from nothing but composed in the 1920s or 1930s. I *know* them, but I'm just having nervous jitters.
Plus, I'm going to be the first one auditioning. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Hopefully a good thing....
