Summer Reading, Guilt Trips....

Yeah, so I got guilt-tripped into joining a chorale group. I must resign myself to three hours of practice every Sunday. I'm not quite sure how my mother did it. At least it's not /all/ church music -- there are quite a few lovely Robert Frost poems put to music.

I go back to school on September 7th. I still have two books to read for my AP English class.... The Poisonwood Bible and A Prayer for Owen Meany. Both of which I'm fairly certain will scar me. And are over 500 pages. Each. Yeah, about that.... ;-)

On a happier note, I actually sent a story off to a magazine. I'll just be pleased with a personal rejection. ;-) Now, however, I'm stuck writing short stories. My novel is stuck at one section. *sigh* I'll go back to it soon. Just work on one or two short stories before then.

You lucky fish, you don't have school for almost another week... This is my second week already. :(

Yay for sending stuff out, something I have yet to do since I haven't had time to rewrite the hard part.
