cinaedAlas, I am now in the computer lab. *is sad*
But Mom and I managed to pack everything in her Echo, so woo!
...Oh, Mom. I love her and she is a sci-fi geek, but in regards to politics? Oh Lord.
She is a staunch Republican. She still supports Bush and thinks that the Majority Leader is a traitor and should actually be TRIED for treason for saying we've lost the war. I had to grit my teeth and say, "You mean we haven't?"
Er, yes. Fun times.
But want to know the kicker?
The one thing we agreed on was that DADT is a piece of shite. ...My mother, the Republican. My mother, the Christian who thinks homosexuals are damned to hell. SHE thinks that DADT is crap and that homosexuals should be allowed to serve their country without hiding who they are.

ETA: Hm. Taking the SGA and SG-1 online quizzes at SciFi.com and it says the Wraith didn't win the war. Um. I don't consider Ancients fleeing to another galaxy a draw, do you?
