Okay. In Medieval Literature, we've been having presentations. Today, this one girl was discussing Arthurian stories as they were adapted to modern media, that sort of thing. It was engaging and well-researched and very enjoyable, until she said:

"And now I'm going to show you a clip from a kid's show. Guys will know this one."

...She showed a clip from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Um. "Guys will know this one"? TMNT wasn't just a guy show. I watched it. I know most if not all of my girl friends watched it, even the movie trilogy (okay, especially the movie trilogy).

So yeah. TMNT? Not just for guys.

I just-- argh. Why I should not even leave my room when I'm grumpy. I get irritated over the smallest things.

Yeah! When I was a kid I watched stuff like Power Rangers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. And read books like Goosebumps and Animorphs.

C'MON! That stuff isn't just for guys.

Of course, I also watched a lot of TV shows from the 60s and 70s...

I know, same here! I watched Power Rangers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Are You Afraid of the Dark, and read Goosebumps and Animorphs, etc.

Ha, I watched Barney in kindergarten. That was it. A brief time of insanity. But mostly I watched PR, TMNT, Duck Tales, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, that sort of thing. *starts humming the Duck Tales theme song*

Leonardo was my favorite... but Donatello was a close second. :) Also, I haven't really watched the show much, but that Atlantis icon is hilarious.

Atlantis is my current addiction. Yes, I love that icon. *pats all the characters who are sort of losers, really* Yes, Leonardo was my brother's favorite, and then we both loved Michelangelo. It wasn't till we were older than I learned to appreciate Raphael. ;)
