The Party's About to Begin....
Aug. 7th, 2004 02:35 pmSo I'm stuck here with my relatives and my brother's friends, most of whom are absolute morons. *sigh* All of my friends bailed on me, which is typical. Not that I blame Chrissy, of course. If my dad was overseas and in the ME, then I'd be sticking close to home as well.
On the other hand, I got to see Sara for the first time since, oh, sixth grade. She moved to Switzerland. She was only here to drop off her friend Anna, but it was nice to chat with her. Of course, while I was blow-drying my hair I got to listen to one of my mom's: "You're so anti-social, why don't you make new friends? You act so superior to everyone else. Maybe if you actually stopped being so snobbish you could make friends...."
And so on and so forth.
I'm going to ignore her. After all, it's my birthday. I don't have to do anything I don't want to do.... Even though up til now I've celebrated my birthday by vacuuming and cleaning the bathroom. Oh the joys of turning eighteen. ^_^
Anyway, I seem to be having writer's block. Well, partial writer's block anyway. I can't write any of my short stories or novels, but I'm churning out chapters for my shounen ai stuff on FictionPress. Go figure. The ones that I absolutely love to write but will probably never get published. Oh well. I'm having fun with my incubi and wolf-men. *grin* Well, off to get presents and endure old folk talk.
