cinaedOkay, yeah, now that I'm done wibbling, I decided to cheer myself up with
1.) The one where they find a quantum mirror to a universe where Carson survived the exploding tumor because SOMEONE TOOK HIM FISHING, GODDAMNIT, and then something happens to that universe and he gets stuck permanently in our world. Because, um, who cares about that other universe? *shifty eyes*
2.) The AU where Carson goes MIA before this 'day of rest,' where he gets hurt during, I dunno, a Wraith culling and loses his memory, and Koyla (c'mon people, like Sheppard actually killed him *snort*) finds him and convinces him that he's a Genii rebel working for him. And then Carson and Koyla's gang meet up with Sheppard's team.
Everyone: Carson! You're alive!
Carson: *tries to shoot them*
Koyla and Gang: *smirks*
Everyone Else: ...
Rodney: Did Carson just--
Sheppard: Yep.
Rodney: Carson. Gun. Shooting at us.
Sheppard: Yep. *drags Rodney behind a tree so he doesn't get shot*
And then Carson can get back some of his memories and come back to Atlantis and everyone can be overjoyed like whoa and all will be right with the world.
3.) The AU where the Daedalus teleports the bomb into space just before Carson can get blown up, because Daedalus FAILS AT LIFE for being around all those times to save McKay and Sheppard's collective asses and not around for Carson. Boo.
Carson: *cheerful* Well, that was close.
Everyone: ...
Rodney: *hits him* Let Sheppard have the marytrdom complex, damnit!
4.) (Non-Carson related one) The fic where Sheppard and Zelenka have the chess match to end all chess matches, because they are both apparently kings of chess and there can be only ONE champion! (And McKay watches and sulks and doesn't understand how those two could ever possibly have beaten him.
