Maybe I'm overreacting, but I thought it was common courtesy to, y'know, ask your roommate if they're okay with having another girl and a guy sleep over. But apparently I was wrong.

I would have pretended to wake up and ask Megan to, uh, not have them stay because I have issues with random strangers watching me sleep, but her girl friend took that moment to say, "Well, if your roommate has a problem with it, I'll punch her in the face." I couldn't tell if she was joking or not, and I prefer an unpunched face, thank you, so I kept quiet.

I especially liked the bit where they talked about me having no life. I'm sorry, just because I respect the law and don't drink underage and because I respect myself and don't go out to parties and have sex with random guys doesn't mean I have no life or no friends.

...Yeah. And Megan's still in bed with the guy.

Can we tell last night was not a good time had by all?

ETA: And the guy just finally left at 1. Well, at least he introduced himself and apologized if they'd disturbed me during the night. That's something. I guess. Though I could have done without his and Megan's whole PDA kissing bit before he left. *sigh*

Time to have a major talk with the roommate? Possibly with the RA involved?

That's...quite hostile on her part, IMO.

I had roommates like that, and my best advice is to GET OUT. As soon as you can. Some roommies are golden and some are THE SUCK. Unfortunately, this one is suck x 11, apparently. I'm sorry. And the girl with the comment, about the punching in the face? Not funny. At all. Even if it was supposed to be funny, it sounds like a threat. Not cool.

Seriously? Rude. Thats really friggin rude and not fair to you at all. You need to get a new roommate, if you can, because whether she was joking or not about punching you in the face? Not cool.

You have a life - and what you're doing with it is much better than what they're doing with theirs, from the sound of things.

Ugh. This is where my father's passive-aggressive genes come out to play. I hate confrontation.

I will try to talk to her though, because this might have been a miscommunication. A few weeks ago one of her friends needed a place to stay the night (her roommate had a guy overnight) and Megan asked me if it was okay for her friend to stay the night. I'd said it was fine at the time, so she might have just assumed I'm cool with it at every time.

But if she tries pulling this again next week during finals? Yeah, I'll definitely involve the RA.

The one who did the comment about punching in the face was also the one totally wasted during CSI and kept shaking her ass in my face and laughing when I got irritated. Yeah. I really don't like her. At all.

See, my roommate was fine during hockey season, but now that she's able to drink? (Well, not legally, but now she drink without a coach breathing down her neck.) She's making up for lost time, and it really, really sucks. *sighs*

Yeah, I know. *sighs* Just need to figure out how to approach the roommate without things getting nasty, because I hate confrontation.

You're not overreacting. She should have asked you, especially if one of her guests was of the male persuasion. My roommate did this to me freshman year, but fortunately we got along so I was just able to talk to her about it afterward.

At least he apologized. That's better than nothing.

Yeah, the roommate apologized when I talked to her about it. It was freezing last night, and she was worried about them being too drunk to make it back to their dorms, and that's the only reason she had them spend the night, but that it wouldn't happen again.
