I Have a Theory

That it's a demon.... No, not Buffy, but I have a theory on Harry Potter.



I think it was a little too odd for Slughorn to mention Sirius' brother Regulus at the beginning of the book when he wasn't mentioned in the last book while we were finding out about Sirius' crappy family. That Slughorn mentioned his name cannot be coincidence. That he tried to get away from Voldemort even moreso.

Remember the guy who signed the note for the fake Hotrux (however you spell it).... RAB? I think that stands for Regulus {A-Middle Name) Black. *grins* Just my theory...and I'm wondering if he's actually dead.

Well, anyone want to tell me I'm wrong? I guessed right about Arabella Figg and the Order of the Phoenix. ^_^;;; Maybe I'm right with this too.

I think you're right. In OotP, while cleaning out the house, there was a locket found that no one could open... interesting, no?

Oooh, I'd forgotten about that.... *tried to forget as much of the OotP as possible* If there's one thing I do like about Rowling, she does do little bits of foreshadowing that most folks miss completely and make you feel special when you notice it. ^^

I've been through this one already. I immediately thought of Regulus when I saw the initials, and I am firmly cemented in my belief that it is him.

And he was mentioned in the last book when Sirius was talking about his family. He tells Harry that Regulus joined up with the Death Eaters and was killed. Harry asks if he was killed by an Auror, and Sirius says no, he was killed by Voldemort himself, or at least on Voldemort's orders, then goes on to say he didn't think Regulus could ever do anything so good as to have Voldemort kill him in person.

And then they go on to find a locket in the house that can't be opened... maybe because it has a piece of a soul in it..??

I'd forgotten that. See, now I'm convinced that it was Regulus, although it makes me sad he got dead by Voldemort *pouts* I wanted ONE decent Black to live! Damnit.... Anyways, yeah, I will have to reread the locket bit because I've erased most of OotP (and half of HBP) from my head. *grins*
