Hahaha. So, uh, you know my pharmacy job? That I figured would be like 10-15 hours a week because from Jim's tone, it seemed like they didn't really need me? I must have come across as desperate on the phone, because I start Monday and, uh, have a 35-hour week.

*laughs* I don't even know how much I make per hour. And I guess I sounded really desperate for hours over the phone? *shrugs* Or maybe they were all, "Oh god, someone who's actually worked here before and knows what to do!" ;) No clue.

But yeah, even if I only make $6.15/hour, which I think is minimum wage (though I'm probably wrong), that's still gonna be over $200 -- well, minus taxes.

But see, I'm a very lazy person too! If I could, I'd spend this entire summer on the sofa. Sadly, this was not meant to be.

And yeah, I can always ask for less, you're right. I'll see how the 35-hour week goes. And in the meantime, try to finish this 12,000+ Mensa fic that somehow became Radek/Laura (though in the 'verse, it'll become Rod/Radek eventually).

Mensa 'verse, alternate "Duet" -- plus, there was already Carson/Perna, so Carson/Laura wasn't going to work. *grins* Um, yeah, I have a whole Mensa 'verse figured out with lilyayl with very odd pairings.

Labrys is an axe, isn't it? Axes sound expensive. *laughs* But a charity showing sounds neat.
